The Spring 2026 Fesival is stirring

Online applications are being accepted as of Wednesday, January 28th, 2026 at 8:00am. The fee for a single booth space is $170 (an increase of $15 from 2025). Electrical service at selected booths in an additional $10 for 110 volt service and $25 for 240 volt (with either 30amp or 50 amp) service (no change from 2025). 

Less than a week to go before the Festival kicks off. We have 89 vendor spots filled. You can find detailed information about accepted vendors below.

Highland Breakfast Sandwiches to be served at Saturday Morning Festival Vendor Check-in

We know that setting up your vendor booth from 7:00 to 9:30 at the Spring 2026 Lake Lure Arts & Crafts Festival on Saturday morning May 9, 2026, is hard work. And there is nothing better to sustain your efforts than a breakfast biscuit from The Highlands Market. The warm biscuit will have egg and a choice of sausage, bacon, or cheese, all for a cost of $4. Plus, there will be coffee for $1 a cup.

So, stop by the information booth right next to check in to start your Festival day off right. And if you are looking for a great meal to celebrate the first day of the festival, please consider The Highland Reserve Restaurant https://thehighlands-reserve.com/ for dinner. Same team, same excellence but with larger portions.

Getting to the Festival: The following is the latest information that we have. It could change right up to the opening of the festival. Some roads are open to Lake Lure:

• From Hendersonville or Asheville, take I-26 to exit 67 (Columbus). Turn left on Highway 109 to Mill Spring. Turn left on Highway 9 to Lake Lure. The festival is adjacent to the Lake Lure Inn on your left.
• Highway 64 from Hendersonville through Bat Cave and Chimney rock is open. It is a bit windy but it is open.
• Online maps are not always reliable. 

On a sad note, the scammers are out in force. If you see a Facebook post that says, in effect, that they are the only way to get a vendor spot and to contact them through Facebook, it is almost certainly a scam. We announce things on Facebook and we answer questions on Facebook. Nothing else. The only email address that we use is  LakeLureArtsAndCraftsFestivals@gmail.com. We love our vendors and do not want them to get scammed. Please be careful out there.

• This is a two-day festival.
• It will be held in Lake Lure, North Carolina.
• It will be held Saturday, May 9, 2026 (10 am to 5 pm) and Sunday, May 10,  (10 am to 4 pm).
• The location is 119 Arcade Street, Lake Lure NC.
• It is a first-come, first-served festival with respect to vendor applications. 
• We will not have ANY live performances at the Festival,

• The Festival is a fund raiser for the Hickory Nut Gorge Outreach. The Outreach is a food pantry (and more) for the benefit of the local community. Please see https://hickorynutgorgeoutreach.org/ for details.
• While the proceeds from the Festival go to support Hickory Nut Gorge Outreach, the Festival is run by the Lake Lure Arts & Crafts Festival Coordinating Committee. The folks who answer the phone and respond to email inquiries at Hickory Nut Gorge Outreach do not have any information about the Festival.
